This unlined hybrid is a combination between a classic shirt and an overshirt. For this style we have kept some of the classic features seen on regular shirts such as: a narrow center placket, a traditional collar stand and the classic slightly rounded bottom. Those to give this style a more sophisticated look. But we have added some work wear inspired details such as: lower patch pockets and added a chest and back yoke and given the style parallel stitches on all details.
The overshirt in general has gone from being a working-class garment worn by French railway workers and engineers to a modern everyday essential. You can either button it up or leave it as it is for a more casual appeal. In addition, it can be a segment of work wear attire by replacing the traditional blazer, opting for a less formal look that still works around the office. For a more modern and casual look, it is best worn with denim, classic sweats and fresh sneakers.
